Set up the profile properly
- Switch to a professional (business) account in settings. It is free and adds contact buttons and insights.
- Use your logo as the profile photo and your exact business name.
- Write a bio that says what you do, where, and how to contact you: "Custom cakes in Gurugram · Order on WhatsApp ↓".
- Add your website link and contact buttons (call, WhatsApp, email).
- Pin your three best posts to the top of your profile.
What to post
- Reels of your work: making a product, a before-and-after, a quick tip. Short videos usually reach more people than photos.
- Photos of products, finished jobs and happy customers (with permission).
- Stories for daily updates: new stock, today's offer, behind the scenes. Save the important ones as Highlights such as "Prices", "Reviews", "Location".
- See 30 post ideas if you are stuck.
Reach local customers
- Add your location to posts and Reels.
- Use a few relevant hashtags with your city or area, such as #gurugramcakes or #delhiinteriors, rather than thirty generic ones.
- Follow and comment on other local businesses and local pages.
- Collaborate with a complementary local business, such as a cake shop and a decorator, and tag each other.
Turn followers into enquiries
Every post should make the next step obvious: "DM us", "WhatsApp to order", "link in bio for prices". Reply to every comment and message quickly. A follower who messages you and waits a day often buys elsewhere.
Put your Indiexis page as your bio link: it shows your full range, prices and reviews, with a WhatsApp button. Get your page.
